Sherri Hughes

Senior Lecturer
Dr. Sherri Lind Hughes is a senior lecturer in the Educational Leadership & Policy Studies department at Boston University Wheelock College of Education & 人类发展. She is the program director for the Executive EdD in Higher Education Leadership.
Before coming to BU Wheelock, Dr. Hughes was the interim provost and senior vice president at Fresno Pacific University, where she led a comprehensive restructuring and academic renewal effort. At the American Council on Education (ACE), she served as the assistant vice president of community strategy and engagement, directed the ACE Fellows program, provided virtual and in-person professional development for higher education leaders, and championed women’s leadership through her work with ACE’s women’s network.
Dr. Hughes served for eight years as the provost and vice president for academic affairs and enrollment management at Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia. She began her career as a faculty member at McDaniel College in Westminster, Maryland, and later served as professor and chair of psychology, associate dean of academic affairs, and dean of graduate and professional studies.
