In addition to your approved Thesis Committee Chair, please select at least three faculty members for your Thesis Committee. While the chair or the co-chair of the committee must be from SHA, the other members can include faculty from other schools and colleges at BU. Students are encouraged to seek out faculty that have expertise in their chosen area of research to serve on their committee. Non-research faculty at SHA can serve on a student’s committee as members, but cannot serve as chair/co-chair.
