Doctoral Student
Sarah Parker is a doctoral student in the Educational Leadership & Policy program at BU Wheelock College of Education & 人类发展. Sarah’s research explores teacher preparation and mentorship, particularly in smaller private and public institutions. In addition, she is interested in exploring how those preparation and mentor programs increase teacher retention.
Sarah is the assistant head of school at Meridian Academy, an intentionally small independent 6–12 school in Jamaica Plain, Mass. She has been at Meridian for 14 years. Before that, she was a secondary school history and humanities teacher in various public and private schools.
