Currently, Joram serves as a science educator in Boston Public Schools, where he previously held the position of science department chair. He studied at Perrone Sizer Institute, where he engaged in activities designed to cultivate his leadership skills in education and youth-oriented nonprofit organizations in the greater Boston area. In addition, he received innovative problem-solving and teamwork training to empower students and their families.

Joram was also a STEM Ed Innovators fellowship recipient through the Jhumki Basu Foundation, which specializes in democratizing and improving teachers’ proficiency in STEM education. He has held a residency at Vertex Pharmaceuticals to train urban students in advanced scientific concepts and laboratory techniques to enhance their access to science. Additionally, he was a Teach Next Year Scholarship recipient from the University of Massachusetts-Boston for his dedication to science innovation, educational excellence, and involvement in community initiatives, especially in urban settings.

Beyond his professional and academic pursuits, Joram operates a small, independent music production company.
