The certificate of advanced graduate study (CAGS) program in Special Education at Boston University Wheelock College of Education & 人类发展 is designed for students who have completed a master’s degree and wish to pursue a further specialized study in the field of special education. You will learn about disability and the ways people, families, schools, and government agencies work to improve the quality of life and outcomes for people with disabilities in school, at home, and in the community.
As a student in the CAGS in Special Education, you’ll have the opportunity to work with faculty who are both practitioners and leading researchers who conduct studies in schools and other settings that serve individuals with special needs. You’ll work closely with your academic advisors to choose the right courses to develop an individualized plan of study that best reflects your background, interests, and professional goals.
