Facilities & Construction Project Management provides via the department of Campus Planning and Operations, a central source for administration of building and maintenance projects across the entire organization (both the Charles River and Medical Campuses).  Projects range from simple and routine such as painting/carpeting to major and complex such as entire building renovations or brand new construction. The service is provided using PMweb, a construction and maintenance project management software application that will serve as a centralized platform and originating system for facilities and maintenance project initiativesPMweb provides the central system and roadmap process for successful design, cost, schedule, and quality performance regarding facility-related projects at Boston University.

What to Expect

This service normally will be available 24 by 7 except for any pre-arranged outage or maintenance events with the vendor.  Such events will be coordinated and announced in advance.  The standard IS&T change windows also apply, these are described in IS&T’s standard policies, procedures, and schedules for making changes.

Requirements

You must have role-based and departmental and budgetary authority to access or update campus facilities project management data on behalf of a department, school, or program.
