Jennifer has over 20 years of experience in Child Welfare both with private agencies and the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). She has served as a direct worker, supervisor, and program manager in the areas of Outreach/Prevention, Child Protective Services, Foster Care, Foster Home Licensing, Adoption and Residential Treatment. She has served on Michigan’s Children’s Protective Services Advisory Committee and is a member of Michigan’s Quality Service Review Team for Child Welfare. She has also served on the Kent County Permanency Planning Committee, Gang Task Force and Pathways to Permanency Committee and is Chair of the Trauma Committee for Kent County DHHS. She joined BUSSW in 2015 as a Geographic Advisor.
