Why did you choose SPH?

After talking with faculty and students about their experiences, it was evident that BUSPH upholds its commitment to maintaining a respectful, collaborative, diverse, and inclusive community. I was excited to pursue public health research in a supportive environment that encourages practice-based learning. It was evident through talking with faculty that they remain committed to the success of their students and the BUSPH community as a whole.

What is something you’re working on at SPH?

I am working on a research project that explores the relationship between being an unpaid, female caregiver and obtaining preventative health screenings. I love this project because we have the opportunity to work with real data that illuminates the vulnerability that groups of female caregivers experience.
