In that time, I was been involved in 20+ manuscript publications, mainly in cardiovascular research, but there were many occasions where I found it difficult to convince statistical reviewers about the analysis results. Therefore, a strong feeling of deep and systematic learning of Biostatistics emerged, especially when my title changed to statistician 3 years ago. So, I begin to lead statistical analysis in the clinical trials and manuscript analysis, and one of responsibilities in my role was to communicate the statistical analysis with physicians and statisticians internally and externally extensively. But without a solid background in Biostatistics, I found myself struggling. Fortunately, BU Biostatistics department gives me the opportunity to learn advanced statistical methods.
