Using Handshake.

Use Boston University Handshake to view jobs, fellowships, practicum and internship postings, upload and update resumes, enable your resume to be viewed by employers, and lots more.

Login, build your profile, upload a resume, and explore career development resources.

Tips for finding public health specific job, practicum, and/or internship opportunities:

  • Click “All Filters” and include “SPH” in the Labeled by your school section. There are 3 labels our team uses when tagging public health specific opportunities: “SPH opportunity”, “SPH internship/practicum”, “sph – posted by sph alum/friend”.
  • We strongly encourage you to complete your Handshake profile with rich, career-related details. This will customize the information Handshake pushes to your home page: jobs, workshops and events, and other resources, all based on your interests. It will also showcase your skills and experiences and enable employers to recruit you directly for positions you are best suited to fill!

Tips for finding SPH tailored events:

  • Click “More filters” and select the label “sph related event”. This will pull events across the University that have a public health lean and could be helpful to SPH students.
