From Tehran, Iran, Fargol Khosravanifard is a PhD candidate in the department of Romance Studies at Boston University. Her main research interests include 19th century literature with a focus on women writers and their impact on literature.

Before coming to Boston University, Fargol received her MA in French Language and Literature in 2020. Her Master’s thesis examines the influential character of George Sand and her important role in literary creation. Fargol also holds a BA in French Translation and taught French for three years in Iran.
