How can a guide help me?

A guide can help a PI to:

• Connect with people knowledgeable about the industry and problem you’re trying to solve
• Think through your idea
• Understand the many programs available both at BU and outside of BU to advance your idea

Who are the guides?

Professionals with experience and knowledge about:

• What it takes to advance an idea
• The challenges researchers face to understand the world outside of academia

Are they mentors?

Not really. When you just want to understand, “How do I DO this?” and, “What should I do next?” the guides are available to help you answer those questions.

How do I go about asking for a guide’s assistance?
