The American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) is the first and largest research organization dedicated to accelerating the cure and eradication of the disease. Through its programs and services, the AACR fosters research in cancer and related biomedical science; accelerates the dissemination of new research findings among scientists and others dedicated to preventing and curing cancer; promotes science education and training; and advances the understanding of cancer etiology, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment throughout the world.
In this workshop, Judy Quong, PhD, director of scientific research and grants administration at AACR, will present and lead a discussion with BU’s Dennis Jones, recent AACR grantee and assistant professor of pathology and laboratory medicine at the Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine.
