Richard Raiselis

Associate Professor of Visual Arts, College of Fine Arts

Richard Raiselis is recognized for his sweeping urban vistas and for his complex examinations of vegetation and landscape. His paintings are concerned as much with the process of seeing as they are with the things shown. Professor Raiselis’ work has been shown at the National Academy of Design in New York, the Austin Museum of Art at Laguna Gloria in Austin, Texas, and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, among others.
