Fellowships & Scholarships
The Office of Fellowships and Scholarships provides outreach, information, and guidance to high-achieving Boston University students and recent alumni across a variety of external and BU-specific fellowships that support domestic and international experiences before and after graduation.
Learning Assistant Program
The Learning Assistant Program hires high-performing students in undergraduate biology, chemistry, engineering, neuroscience, and physics to help teach courses they’ve successfully completed.
Software & Application Innovation Lab (SAIL)
The Software & Application Innovation Lab (SAIL) offers internship opportunities to BU students to grow their software engineering expertise and solve research challenges across disciplines. SAIL interns work directly with software engineers and researchers in the space where academia meets application, learning and experimenting with new technologies on projects in data science, security and privacy, synthetic biology, digital health, and more.
Spark!
Spark! is a technology incubator and experiential learning lab for computational and data-driven projects. Housed at the Faculty of Computing & Data Sciences, Spark! helps students realize their potential by providing access to resources, knowledge, and expert networks to support their innovation and applied learning journeys

Yawkey Nonprofit Internship Program
The Yawkey Nonprofit Internship Program for sophomores, juniors, and seniors provides a stipend to unpaid interns at nonprofit organizations. Available through BU’s Center for Career Development, the program helps students plan, execute, and learn from internship experiences.
