2025 Mentors & Projects

The REU Site in Integrated Nanomanufacturing brings ten undergraduate students to BU each summer for research opportunities that provide interdisciplinary exposure to nanotechnology and engineering. Supplementary REU programs will support additional REU positions focused on cardiac tissue engineering, materials science topics, and optics and photonics research. Each REU participant will join a research project led by a BU faculty member, or in some cases, a startup company lab based in the BU Photonics building.
