Summary: Stroke may cause disability to speech and language understanding depending on the side of the stroke, as well as the severity of the brain injury. fNIRS can allow routine measurements during therapy and thus provide insight into the brain recovery after stroke. We aim is to investigate the changes in brain functioning in Stroke patients going through rehabilitation, using established language paradigms.
