Lucy Flamm(she/her) is the Social Work Librarian for Boston University. Lucy previously worked as a Branch Manager with the Cambridge Public Library. In this role, she managed collections and designed and executed more than 200 community programs. Her collaborations and initiatives focused on housing access, language justice, outdoor education, and trauma-informed care. Earlier in her career, Lucy received her Masters degree in Information Science from the University of Texas at Austin where she worked at the Perry-Castañeda Library and Critical Data Studies Lab. Earlier work experiences have included Al-Quds University, the Bard Prison Initiative, and digital archiving initiatives. In 2023, Lucy was selected as an American Library Association Emerging Leader.
