Caroline Perna
SAR‘25 Human Physiology
Hi! I’m Caroline (she/they) and I am a senior studying Human Physiology in the Sargent College of Health and Rehabilitation Studies on the pre-med track. I am currently involved in the Pre-Medical Society, College of Arts and Sciences Anti-Racist Initiative, Admissions Ambassador, Admissions Student Diversity Board, Queer Activist Initiative, The Urban Garden Initiative, and Alpha Phi Omega (community service fraternity). I am on the club ultimate frisbee and squash teams, despite never having played them before.
I am originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, so coming to the big city of Boston has been one of the best parts of my college experience! The other biggest thing I love about being at BU is Kilachand. This community has fostered so many relationships with peers, professors, and staff that have made my time here amazing. Having this small community within the university made the transition to college much easier, and has given me a place that feels like home. The seminars I took my freshman year (A Nation Riven and Wildlife Conservation) have allowed for me to experience discussion based learning environments, which gave me more confidence in scholarly conversations. Feel free to email me about anything!
