Ilana Ovental is a graduating senior at Boston University, where she majored in Political Science and minored in Jewish Studies. Ilana is originally from Forest Hills, New York. After graduation, Ilana will be moving to Washington D.C. to work in education policy at the American Enterprise Institute.
For Ilana, the most rewarding aspect of pursuing a minor in Jewish Studies consisted in the opportunity to explore a subject that she was deeply passionate about. Ilana believes the Jewish Studies minor provided her room to grow academically outside of her primary area of study in political science.
