One of several row houses built in 1899 in the Classical Revival Style for W.D. Vinal, a prominent developer, by Samuel D. Kelley, a prolific architect in both Back Bay and Brookline. You can see other BU residences designed by Kelley along Beacon Street at 822, 832, 845, 853, 856, 906, and 908, and at 90 St. Mary’s Street.
The building lies on the north side of Beacon within South Campus, a tranquil, private neighborhood that features a mix of families, young professionals, and BU neighbors. Central campus is right over the BU Bridge, while a short walk across Beacon Street puts you in the Fenway area. Nearby, you’ll find groceries, restaurants, shops, and more. South sits between the B- and C-lines, giving you great access to the rest of Boston.
Off-campus feel, on-campus convenience: South Campus has it all!
