Niveditha (Nive) Senthilvel is an incoming PhD student with an interest in food policy in South Asia. Through her research, she hopes to investigate the interplay between global land rights, food sovereignty, ecology, and climate history in South Asia. She is passionate about going beyond the confines of traditional History and telling complex human stories. In her personal life, she enjoys reading, listening to music, and spending time with her dog, Simon.
