Nathaniel Hontz entered the JD/MA program after completing his first year of law school here at BU. He graduated from Princeton University in 2021 with a Bachelors in history, and a minor in German Language and Culture. His thesis, “‘White Blood’: How 50 Years of Property Restrictions kept New Jersey’s Sussex County Caucasian” was an examination of 20th century residential segregation and discrimination in his home county of Sussex County, New Jersey. As a JD/MA student, he is interested in American legal history. While at BU, he sings with the Marsh Chapel Choir and plays euphonium for the BU Concert Band.
