Cole Parker entered the PhD program in 2019 after receiving his BA in History from San Diego State University. He studies the historical intersections between right-wing political action, conspiracism, and the Cold War with Bruce Schulman. His dissertation identifies the New World Order conspiracy theory as the unifying principle of a distinct right-wing political movement in the U.S. from the postwar period to the present.
