Ayushi Chauhan entered the PhD program in 2021 after receiving her master’s degree in development studies from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati. She studies 20th and 21st-century South Asian environmental history with Professor Benjamin Siegel, focusing on the intersections of governance, development, and environment.
