Chris Sedore

Chris Sedore is Vice President of Information Services & Technology and Chief Information Officer at Boston University.  He oversees a staff of over 400, shaping BU’s digital operations and guiding teams across both the Charles River and Medical Campuses. Sedore joins us from Tufts University, where he managed a $60 million IT organization with a staff of 280, covering areas such as administrative and clinical systems, educational technology, and information security. His previous roles include Vice President and CIO at the University of Texas at Austin and President and CEO of the New York State Education and Research Network. With over 20 years at Syracuse University, including roles as Vice President for Information Technology and Chief Information Officer, Sedore brings extensive experience in strategic leadership and operational excellence.
