Samuel Bazzi, core faculty member at the Human Capital Initiative at the GDP Center, was recently cited in a Live Mint article entitled, “What’s behind the rise of religious politics?”. The quoted section reads:

What is the reason for this difference in religion’s influence across societies? In a new National Bureau of Economic Research paper, the authors analyse the effects of Islamic institutions on politics in Indonesia.
