BU ECE creates engineers who shape the lives of future generations and make the world a better place. In addition to learning creative problem-solving skills essential for success, our Societal Engineers develop a set of complementary skills, which enable them to transfer their education in technology to the real world. BU ECE students graduate into dynamic careers that go beyond traditional ECE fields to include data science, robotics, cyber security, photonics, synthetic biology, smart health, and smart cities.
