The undergraduate BME program fuses thorough training in engineering with a wide-ranging curriculum of life sciences, research theory, and systems physiology. This means you’ll have the real-world tools necessary for innovative research and industry work in biomedical science. You will culminate your time in the program with a senior capstone experience, the BME Senior Design Project, that is heavily emphasized in research and design.

The BS degree program in biomedical engineering is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET (www.abet.org).
