Education in the Department of Earth & 环境 deepens students’ scientific understanding of the Earth’s systems and empowers students to improve the stewardship of the planet’s natural resources. Our BA, MA, MS and PhD programs prepare students for careers in academia, applied research, state and federal agencies, nongovernmental organizations, and positions of responsibility in private consulting businesses. The Department has unusual strengths in integrating across disciplines and provides students with a broad spectrum of coursework and opportunities for independent and collaborative research.
