Margaret Babson

Margaret serves as the Director of Student Activities supporting the SAO Team in their work advising and assisting student with their events, leadership, and training to ensure student organization life remains vibrant and strong at Boston University. She is also the connecting point for departments and offices around campus to partner on programs and initiatives related to the work of student activities.

Margaret found a real passion for student advising and program planning in her first job with the National College Advising Corps, and time spent volunteering for her sorority. She completed her Master’s Degree in Higher Education Administration at Boston College (don’t hold it against her!), before joining the SAO team in 2019 beginning as an Assistant Director of Programming. She continues to love working with students as they find their home at Boston University.

Growing up in Massachusetts, Margaret inherited a love of the New England Patriots, seafood, and Dunkin Donuts. She is a big bookworm and is always looking for new suggestions for books, but also can’t resist a  good Kdrama!
