Danielle serves as the primary liaison between the Division and the Office of the President, and Office of the University Provost, ensuring effective collaboration on University-wide student-related matters. She advances and monitors progress of Division initiatives as well as identifies priorities and tracks specific projects through reporting department directors.

In the Dean of Students Office, Danielle has the responsibility of being the primary communications and social media strategist for the division. She coordinates marketing and production efforts for University signature programs and initiatives, and provides operational support for our student-facing DOS office – coordinating notary public services, divisional assessment, strategic communications, and the annual production of the BU yearbook. Danielle also serves as the primary liaison between DOS and other university creative units to generate engaging content for our students, parents and alumni.

A Boston native, Danielle first came to Boston University from Atlanta, GA., in 2021, where she spent the year as an Events Director at the Atlanta Country Club. Prior to this, Danielle was the Marketing and Communications Specialist at Averett University in Danville, VA. At Averett, she worked alongside the Director of Marketing and university leadership to handle all internal and external communication from weekly newsletters, press releases, social media content, website and alumni magazine production. Before she transitioned into the academic community, Danielle was a reporter for WDBJ7, the CBS affiliate in Roanoke, VA., and prior to that a reporter for WTAP in Parkersburg, WV. Danielle received her undergraduate degree from Marietta College in Marietta, OH., and a Master of Business Administration, with a concentration in marketing, from Averett University.

Danielle always hoped her career would bring her back to Boston, a city she loves, and is excited to be back home with her family. A storyteller at her core, she is looking forward to being a voice for the BU community and Student Affairs, and is eager to promote the work of our students and university throughout the surrounding community.
