Migration Tales

Why did you choose to be a PM for your program?

I chose to be a PM to apply the skills I already had in community engagement and combine them with my love for marketing and helping the community. Being able to communicate and be creative with community service to get people’s attention is something I am excited about. I also wanted to improve my customer service skills now that I am interacting with more people from different backgrounds and places.

What is something about your program you are looking forward to?

I look forward to seeing how much growth the program gains within the year. I am very excited to see how much the team grows and builds close relationships, not just within the CSC but outside as well. Lastly, I am looking forward to seeing all the different ways we volunteer and help the community.

Why do you think people should get involved with the CSC?

Everyone interested in volunteering in any shape or form should be involved with the CSC. CSC is very welcoming and inclusive from the moment you join! They should join to help the community and give back to those who need assistance.
