
IT Manager
Paul has been a systems administrator with the Department of Computer Science since 2000, serving as IT Manager since 2008. Paul is responsible for overseeing all the work of the Department’s IT support group, including project management, purchasing and budgets, personnel management, and working with researchers and instructors to ensure their infrastructure needs are being met.
Paul graduated from Goshen College in 1995, with a degree in Religion & Philosophy and a minor in History, and earned a Masters degree in Computer Science from Boston University Metropolitan College in 2002. Paul holds numerous professional certifications, including Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) and Linux Foundation Certified Engineer (LFCE), serves as a Fedora Ambassador for the Fedora Project, and is a member of the Linux Foundation, USENIX, the Electronic Frontier Foundation, and the Internet Society. Paul has been an obsessive home brewer since 2009, and spends much of his free time geeking out over yeast strains and fermentation equipment.
