233 Bay State Road
This project transformed the vacant former Hillel House building at 233 Bay State Road into an expanded Alan and Sherry Leventhal Center. The renovation included restoring the exterior of the building and the addition of 2,500 square feet of interior space that included the creation of a generous reception area and a 150-seat auditorium. A five minute walk to the GSU or Questrom School of Business, the site is also near larger meeting spaces, such as Stone B-50 and the Law Auditorium. Extensive improvements to the area around the building, such as a widened sidewalk and a plaza to the west, were also included. The center is certified LEED Gold by the US Green Building Council. The building opened in March 2014.
