We are committed to fostering the open campus environment for which Boston University is known.
We have provided a number of official BU policies and community resources that help guide us, and you, in creating a campus where each individual is treated with dignity, fairness, and respect. Based on feedback from the working groups, the Events & Demonstrations Policy has been revised on an interim basis and the Code of Student Responsibilities is also undergoing revisions during the 2024–25 academic year; please check back as changes are announced.
We also encourage you to seek help and report concerning incidents as well as immediate safety concerns. We know the decision to report is not easy, and we’re committed to ensuring that everyone understands the options available to them, including confidential resources, and the ways the University can address harm while offering support and care. Resources exist across the University for all members of the community, and we encourage you to use them when needed.
