  • Safety Awareness for Everyone (SAFE)
    • An on-demand informational video and training to inform everyone in the BU community about the comprehensive support provided by the Boston University Police Department (BUPD) in the event of an active threat.
  • Sexual Misconduct Prevention Training for Students
    • BU’s required sexual misconduct prevention training discusses students’ rights and responsibilities and helps you build skills to safely intervene in situations that may lead to sexual violence. The trainings are research-backed and tailored to the unique experiences of both undergraduate and graduate students. 
  • Terrier eDevelopment Library DEI Resources (requires Kerberos access)
    • Terrier eDevelopment (TeD) is a web-based e-learning platform that allows BU community members to have instant access to online learning content, including courses, videos, e-books, audiobooks, and training documents. Registration for both virtual and in-person workshops can be found on the TeD platform as well.
  • Terrier F1RSTS Advocates Training
    • A Newbury Center program training faculty and staff to assist and support first-generation students.
  • Title IX Training Materials
    • The 2020 Title IX regulations 34 C.F.R. § 106.45(b)(10)(i)(D) require campuses to post training materials for Title IX coordinators, Title IX decision-makers, Title IX investigators, and all who implement informal resolution processes. Boston University received permission from the outside vendors whose materials are posted on this page to comply with the regulations.
  • University-Wide Sexual Misconduct Prevention and Harassment & Discrimination Prevention Training for Faculty and Staff
    • BU requires all employees to complete an online Learning Module about the prevention of sexual misconduct, harassment, and discrimination; awareness of acceptable and unacceptable behavior; awareness of the University’s rules and processes; and awareness of available campus resources for safety, education, and reporting.
