Taylor Locke, CISE Industry Roundtable 10-28-15
CISE Director, Ioannis Paschalidis, welcomed Taylor Locke, Data Scientist, Analytics Engineer, and Consultant to the 2nd Fall Semester 2015 Industry Roundtable. Locke’s impressive professional experience ranges from being Technical Staff at MIT Lincoln Laboratory in the Informatics and Decision Support Group to Altman Vilandrie & Co. as Data Scientist and Operations Specialist to working independently on projects within his expertise. Taylor Locke emphasized that it is not enough to have a job, it is crucial to enjoy what you are doing. Taylor’s passion for math, has been the thread running throughout his academic and professional career. This passion has driven him to consistently work towards new goals He claims, “formulaic computational mathematics is a thing of beauty.”
Taylor Locke has a positive outlook. He strives to improve both his personal work experience and the quality of life for his family and society at large.
