Ashok Cutkosky

Ashok Cutkosky is an Assistant Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Boston University. Previously, Cutkosky was a research scientist at Google. He earned a PhD in computer science at Stanford University in 2018, and is also a graduate of the Masters in Medicine program. His current research interests include learning algorithms that don’t require manual hyperparameter tuning, in particular in the online learning framework. Learn more about his work here.

Eshed Ohn-Bar

Eshed Ohn-Bar is an Assistant Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Boston University. Previously, Ohn-Bar received a Humboldt fellowship, visiting MPI for Intelligent Systems. He earned a PhD in Electrical Engineering at University of California San Diego. Ohn-Bar is interested in machine intelligence for real-world, embodied, assistive and autonomous systems. Specifically, he has developed data-driven perception, planning, and control systems for safety-critical applications in navigation and transportation–including autonomous driving and assisted navigation to people with visual impairments.
