About
I am a PhD student at the Center for Brain Recovery interested in fMRI and language processing in aphasia. I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Miami, where my passion for neuroimaging developed. Following my undergraduate degree, I studied language using fMRI in people with frontotemporal dementias, including Alzheimer’s disease. As a neuroscientist at the CBR, I work to study the processing of language in stroke survivors with aphasia. In the future, I wish to set up my own lab so that I can continue to research language processing in populations with aphasia.
Research Interests: language processing, neuroimaging, aphasia
