MS Financial Aid
Financial Aid for Master’s Students
BU Bioinformatics Program Merit Scholarships
Tuition assistance is available to master’s students in the form of Merit Scholarships, which provide partial tuition to five full-time MS students. These scholarships are awarded at the time of admission and do not require a separate application. These awards are made to both international students and U.S. citizens who have demonstrated excellent academic ability and who have demonstrated enthusiasm and knowledge in the field of Bioinformatics.
Students receiving a Merit Scholarship must maintain a superior level of academic progress and no student may hold a scholarship for more than two years of study for the master’s degree.
Student Employment
Master’s students may work on campus to earn additional money during their time at Boston University. The Student Employment Office works with current BU students to assist them in their on-campus employment endeavors, through the Job Board and Quickie Job Services.
