Jared Bowen

Jared Bowen spoke with students in the Art World class in the fall of 2016.  Mr. Bowen is the Emmy award-winning host of the weekly television series on WGBH Boston, ‘Open Studio with Jared Bowen.’  He is a member of the Boston Theater Critics Association, and the Boston Online Film Critics Association. He is also a contributor to the ‘PBS NewsHour’ and ‘Art New England’ magazine.  A graduate of Emerson College, he began his career at ‘Dateline NBC’

Mr. Bowen spoke with AR 690 students about the changing role of the art critic in the contemporary ecology of the art world.
