  1. Thanks for your interesting discussion about a most fascinating artist of our time and of all time. I’m very much in agreement with your opinion about the art of ‘singing’, in general, and about Dylan’s singing voice, in particular. As with all music, it’s always best when the quality/style of the instrument playing the specific music matches the quality or style of the music being played. After sixty or so years of professionally singing, Dylan’s voice finally seems to have grown into the quality/style of music he was always trying to convey, and I’m enjoying it immensely. Looking forward to seeing [and listening to] him tomorrow night. Cheers.

    1. He sang here n Oklahoma City April 14, 2022 at the OKC Civic Center. Had mezzanine seats…could not see any empty seats on the main floor or side balcony! So he’s still touring.
The Dylan Center which will be located in Tulsa, OK near the Woody Guthrie Center Will house his entire archive.

Check his website for more details. It’s going to be an incredible resource for students and scholars…and also for ordinary Bob lovers!
BTW…he sounded great in concert with a drummer, piano and other guitars. this was a one night show on his 2022 Rough and Rowdy Ways Tour. I am about a year younger than Bob D and my first time to see him perform live!

  2. I have been a Dylan fan all my life. Like actors you just keep on til you drop and I’d like Dylan to keep sharing his unique voice and literature.

  3. There have been many brilliant musicians performing during my lifetime. bob Dylan stands out in my mind as being truly the best. His songs made you really think about life in general no matter how mundane your life was..you couldn’t ignore his messages or his talent. He continues to bring tears and smiles to me and to so many. We are lucky to have had the very best of him in my generation. I love his writing , his music and his voice. He is exceptional. I will always be a huge fan.

  4. Great article! (Because you think as I do) I have front row Pit seats in a theater that holds 2200, late October 2023. Grateful for the opportunity, he may not pass my way again. We’re getting old.
