Feedback: Campaign Impact; Timely Research
Special Issue: The Campaign for BU
CONGRATULATIONS! The support of so many generous people (Special Campaign Issue, Fall 2019) helped my daughter, Ruby Price (COM’23), become one of the many talented youth of the incoming Class of 2023. Who knows what this class will do to change the world for the good of us all? I’m confident that the investment of those who donated will see returns for the good of all mankind that we have yet to imagine.

The Transformers
JORGE DELVA, dean of the School of Social Work, is doing very timely research as the country struggles with issues associated with undocumented immigrants and their children (“The Transformers,” Fall 2019). This research could inform policymakers in the United States.

Encouraged and Inspired
It got me progressively interested, fascinated, encouraged, inspired, thankful: it is one day after Thanksgiving; I am thankful that Kellie Desrochers got the opportunities that opened her world beyond the life she grew up in. Grateful to my alma mater for helping her get there. I think her stance pulled me into the “Last Word” article: legs set wide to keep her planted immovably on course….I don’t know you? Of course I do. You’re the one who’ll get there at any price….Thank you, BU. Thank you, Kellie.
