Before we delve into the new semester, we thought we’d take a last look back at the old one. We’ve assembled more than two dozen Close Ups that ran on on BU Today from late August through December of last year. They capture some of the most important events that took place on campus during those months—everything from the dedication of the School of Law’s new Sumner M. Redstone Building, to honoring the memory of longtime Boston Mayor Thomas Menino (Hon.’01), the codirector of the University’s Initiative on Cities, to the student demonstrators who gathered to protest the grand jury decision not to indict officer Darren Wilson in the shooting death of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Mo.
What were your most memorable memories of the past semester? Share them in the comments section below and/or send photos to Instagram at #fall2014.
