Hockey Team Heads to the Hill
The national champs accept kudos in and around the State House

After winning the Beanpot and Hockey East and wrapping it all up in Washington, D.C., by capturing the national championship, the men’s hockey team had one place left to conquer, and it wasn’t Disney World.
On Wednesday, members of the hockey team stopped in for a visit with Boston city councilors, rubbed shoulders with legislators on Beacon Hill, and then pulled off the hat trick, accepting congratulations from Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick.
They didn’t solve the economic crisis, but they did provide plenty of Bay State bragging rights.
