Verbal fluency as a measure of lexical access and cognitive control in bilinguals with aphasia

There are many questions that remain unanswered about the psychological processes of bilinguals. Using one language while other languages are competing for access requires a great deal of cognitive control even in health populations. For bilingual patients, aphasia produces additional challenges. This study aims to bolster current research on bilingual aphasia linguistic and cognitive performance.
