Year 2
- Major Paper Approval Form
- Continuing Student Status Form: Graduate students who are not registering for credits (i.e. those out of coursework) or are not receiving a full-fellowship must complete this form each semester and return it to the American Studies Administrator, 226 Bay State Rd, Room 106. Please refer to the Graduate School’s website for detailed information on the registration process.
- Student Progress Report Form: Please complete this form each year and bring it with you to the mandatory meeting held for all PhD students in April.

- Petition for Extension of Time to Complete PhD Requirements: Please refer to your faculty advisor or the Director of Graduate Study if you believe you may need to petition the Graduate School for an extension of time to complete all of your Ph.D. requirements.
