Alexandra Drakou (Questrom’99)

Born in Athens, Greece, Alexandra pursued her undergraduate studies in Hotel and Tourism Management at Glion Institute of Higher Education in Montreux, Switzerland. Following her withdrawal from the family-owned hotel company five years later, looking for a new path to follow, she embarked in a Questrom School of Business MBA program from which she graduated with a concentration in Entrepreneurship in ’99. Returning to Greece, she entered the wider financial sector, serving as a corporate finance analyst in a boutique stock exchange broker of the ATHEX. Her final career direction was taken a couple of years later, when she joined a newly founded insurance brokerage and is since founding and active partner in Private Health Insurance, of Primary Link Insurance Brokers, a small, dynamic firm, serving private and corporate customers in both domestic contracts and international business agreements.
