Paula Higgins-Baker is the program administrator for the Administrative Sciences department. She has worked in higher education for 25 years in administrative roles supporting students and faculty. In her current role, Paula works with on-campus students from admission through graduation. She helps students navigate their way through their degree and certificate programs, degree and certificate audits, collecting and verifying I-20 documents, applying for curricular practical training (CPT), and responding to on-campus student inquiries and requests.

She enjoys spending her free time with her family, playing with her grandchildren, reading works of fiction and true crime.

Tara Kelly is an Administrative Sciences academic advisor. Tara assists online students with initial student onboarding, course registration, the graduation process, questions about their program, and other administrative responsibilities. Tara is assigned to the following master’s degree and graduate certificate programs:

  • Global Marketing Management
  • Insurance Management
  • Project Management

Prior to her time at BU, Tara earned a bachelor’s degree in English literature from Framingham State University, and has worked as an ESL instructor and an ecommerce copywriter.

Susan Sunde

Susan Sunde is the program manager for the Administrative Sciences department as well as the academic advisor for graduate students on campus. She advises students on everything from registering for courses to all aspects of their needs while studying in their program, while making sure that they have met all of their requirements to graduate.

Susan is in charge of scheduling and staffing all on-campus and online courses as well as the day-to-day operations of the Administrative Sciences department. She enjoys working with other departments at MET and various departments across Boston University. She also enjoys being involved with various initiatives throughout the school year. Susan has been a supporting member of the Administrative Sciences department for more than 30 years and thoroughly enjoys working very closely with department faculty, staff, and most importantly, students.

As for fun, she loves spending time with her children, grandchildren, and the rest of her family, taking vacations together and enjoying each other’s company.
